The pop-ups on this site are getting out of control. Never experienced a pop-up on my iPhone other than here. Can read for 20-30 seconds and get redirected to some Norton, McAfee or Spectrum spam. Anyone else?

Over 20 Questions and none involving Kaapo Kakko and his future here?

To expand on Question 13: Do any rookies besides Othmann have a shot to make this team in the fall?

CapGeek was the OG high-end cap site for the NHL. Unfortunately that one had the saddest ending.

I have no hope.

Drury has destroyed a good thing.

I feel this way and it has nothing to do with failing to sign any UFA'S in 7/1/24. It also has nothing to do with Goodrow's contract now being off the books.

It is the methods used by Drury that has caused me to feel this way. His underhanded approach to moving his veterans out, especially his Captain will cause many of our players to think twice about their own futures playing for this guy.

I'm sorry you guys don't see it this way.

The Rangers are not making the playoffs next year. I know it's a tough pill to swallow, but Drury has destroyed our team chemistry.

I know it's a business, but our business decision maker needs to learn how to do his job better and treat his players with the respect they deserve.

Fire Drury today!

Thank you for providing an example of exactly what Jan specifically asked us not to do. And first in the comments, too. #Commitiment.

I responded to this earlier and asked you a question in which it seems you ignored. Can you list the 8 Eastern Conference teams that are going to make the playoffs ahead of the Rangers? I am genuinely curious as to what you think

Edit: Also, what respect are we talking about here? Drury asked him to submit his list of teams. He was exploring a trade and seemed like he had one close. This is what GM's do. Has no other captain ever been traded? What did he do that disrespected Trouba so much? Because it now seems he is bending over backwards for Trouba & his family. It's all hearsay. But what should Drury have done in this situatuin that would've made you feel better about it?

is the problem that Drury didn't get rid of Trouba so we didn't have money to spend on July 1st?

or is the problem that the chemistry is ruined because the locker room loves him so much and will not be able to go on without him

I didn't answer the question regarding naming the 8 teams that'll finish ahead of the Rangers next season, thus eliminating them from the playoffs.

Who I think the 8 teams are is not fact or verbatim. I do not claim to be a hockey expert. However I do know that in my work experiences, if I had a boss that had treated my senior coworkers like Drury did to his, I would leave that organization before they did the same to me. Needless to say, I wouldn't go the extra step ever again working for somebody like that.

I know this is a hockey site, but Drury's handling of his senior players has nothing to do with hockey.

Rangers will not make the playoffs next season.

if players will always play the way their chart says they will play, then "how they feel about something" isnt really relevant anyway

Say what you want about Goodrow, he had a terrible season but I would assume it is difficult to play with a broken jaw, which he played through playing in 80 games, which is pretty amazing since he was supposedly eating thru a straw.

He showed up in the payoffs scoring 6 goals, which is more than both Panarin's (5) and Zibby's (3) and only 2 behind CK20 (8), getting about 8 minutes a game less and no PP time and of course playing with better players.

- Brukie

He also shot 40% and in the two prior PO had 2 points combined. Happened to like him but could not have him at $3.6m. Drury seemed to mishandle the trouba situation worse as we can see now. But he also should just communicate better with players since both seemed blindsided.

Why does nobody consider that Trouba will come into next season with a chip on his shoulder and play the best hockey he's played for us yet? How come everybody assumes that he is crying and his feelings are hurt. What about him that we've seen thus far has given anyone the indication that he would cower rather than fight back?

I think he will play hard. He just isnt great defensively. I think the rangers biggest issue is they did not play a good enough defensive game all year and in the PO. Never really locked it down well. PK was great but mostly issues 5v5.

my contention is that he played pretty solid hockey last season, terrible in the playoffs but that certainly can be at least somewhat be attributed to after he broke his ankle

if he's still here opening night he will be healthy and continue to play solid, just not worth 8 million cap hit, but we've known that or a long time

he's not gonna sulk though

Alright man. If you dont want to back your opinions with anything like "I think these are the teams that will make it over the Rangers because of these reasons.." then how can anyone take you seriously? Of course it's not fact or verbatim. But you stated your case, and now I am asking you to explain it. Saying it doesnt matter but then continuing to say it again just gives you zero credibility. And I say that kindly. I am open to discussing why you think a certain way.

Also, the "I wouldn't go the extra step ever again working for somebody like that." is silly. These guys dont play FOR Drury. They play for the opportunity to achieve their biggest goal they've ever set for themselves, and they play for the guy next to them wanting the same thing. You think a player is going to try less or not take an extra step because Drury went about a situation with a player a certain way? Come on...

What am I missing with the Trouba thing that people are blaming Drury for? He had a NTC change to a modified NTC. He is trying to improve the team by moving on from him. So because his wife has a residency and the couple is refusing to go somewhere else until that is done, Drury needs to be fired?? wtf man

And I don’t love Drury either but he shouldn’t be fired for this outcome
