I hate Puckpedia

Why? I just went on it for some Kadri info and found it quite helpful. I will say I never played around much with Capfriendly or any of the other sites for this type of info

7M contract till 2029 which will take him to 38 years old. Going to pass on Kadri. Don't think he is the right fit for us
- NYR11

Seems to be the consensus so fair enough.

The guy put up 75 points last year and 87 pts in 70 games in his cup winning season in Colorado with 15 points in 16 playoff games, doesn't seem like he's slowing down all that much and have to imagine he wants out of Calgary.

He makes the same as Kakko + Chytil. If we're trying to win next year i'd take Kadri

I'll leave it at this because I don't want to monopolize the board with my Kadri idea but these lines look pretty good to me:

Kreider - Zib - Smith
Panarin - Trocheck - Laf
Cuylle - Kadri - Othmann
Rempe - Carrick - Vesey

Id be on that train. We all know... we ain't paying him till 2029. It's the "we'll figure it out later" mindset.

I found our blog when the Panarin signing went down

at bottom of page, my comment

"they better goddamn win it all this 7 year period"

After I said I didn't like the signing, you said it. Truthfully, I dont have the time to go and find it. IDGAF.

But your new name is...

C U Next Tuesday!

I never guaranteed anything

so you are as usual, a d-i-c-k

The honest answer is they have Backstrom who is going on LTIR and Oshie is likely going to retire. That's $15M

That’s without backstrom on LTIR. Should really be $5m

By the way, I found it for you

You said:

Another seven years without the Cup, Ugh. No free agent we have signed in the last 25 years has helped us, Panarin will be no better.

I'm gonna watch anyway

I don't see a guarantee anywhere.

I also see JRR disagreeing with you and Jim pointing out (correctly, years ago) that you're not serious about having legit hockey convo

Tough look....

I didnt watch Barkov before last years Panthers run but if you want to compare the 2 on playoff performances, Barkov isnt afraid to hit or get hit. Panarin doesnt like any kind of contact and shies away from it. Barkov skated hard and is an incredible defensive forward, Selke winner, who's defensive game do you like better? Panarin who even some of the posters on here who have stroked him since he arrived here have called him out for his non existent back checking and is a defensive liability or Barkov???

Panarin cant hold Barkov's jock strap.

- Brukie

Ok, you've convinced me. Let's go back in time and instead of signing Panarin, we'll sign Barkov! Oh, wait a tic, that's right!!! He wasn't available at the time, was he? Oh, yeah. He was on one of the best value contracts in the league.

What the (frank) are you talking about, man???????
Do you think for one second you are typing anything about his game or Barkov's game that even one person on here isn't fully aware of?????
On top of that, you're whining about things that no one can change. Circumstances were what they were and they were dealt with in what seemed the best manner at the time. It's been years and we have improved steadily until reaching the point where we were a couple injuries/lucky bounces/better efforts/personnel changes away from the ultimate goal. Has the league changed the way it operates and no one told me? I didn't realize that every team has to release players and start from scratch every season. Why do you act like because we ONLY made it to the Conference Finals, we are done and next year we won't still be one of the better teams in the league? Seriously, I'd like an answer to that one.
