Maybe it's dinner time and he finally has realized that the sun came up today. Why are you so critical of the Flyers. All you want to do is bust on the Flyers. Why are you a fan?
- MJL

I am critical because to me, not since the Lindros days have I felt true optimism about the team. Even then, poor decision making cost them the cup. The Vanbriesbrook signing over Richter or Cujo cost them a cup in my mind. Since then..they just seem to spin their wheels. 25 years is too long to not be a threat in the NHL.

I wish I could just sit back and smile about the Flyers, Yet they just continue to make dumb decisions. I like Luchenko, but not at 12/13. Buium should have been the hands down pick, and then make a move to get Luchenko closer to 20. It could have been done.

I am a fan because I come from England. I was in a hotel in Richmond BC on March 10 1980, and they were showing sport highlights on the tv. I had never seen hockey, or even heard of it. They showed highlights of a Philly/ NYI game, and I was hooked. I had been in NA for less than 4 hours, and I had already latched onto a hockey team. My team in England was Liverpool in Premiership Football. But hockey was something else.

Of course. Which is why I said he might be wrong. But that’s the answer I got.

It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out.

Again, no disrespect to Bill, but he’s much closer to what’s going on than Bill is. Things can change though, I got that answer a year ago.

Not a hot dog vendor. Not a high-up suit. Not a former player. Yet you know him by name.

Not Gritty.

Gauthier wanted to play for the Flyers down the stretch after his NCAA season ended in 23. That is not basically burning his first year of his ELC in college. It takes 10 games played to burn a year of a ELC. This is not different from what every other high profile NCAA player wants and gets. A smart GM would've given it to him. The Flyers weren't smart. They were stupid.
If that's the real reason why the Flyers passed on Buium, they were stupid again.

I understand what you are saying, but when did the players have full control, but are you sure he didn't burn his first year with the ducks I'm pretty sure he did

Fantasy land comrade.

Oh Hello Anton!

Which part is the fantasy? The 3 policy items are part of his platform, are online, and have been extensively discussed. So, presumably not that.

The impact then it must be? Currently, it is my words against yours. Or rather, the expert's words against yours. Coincidentally, this article came out a few hours after our exchange:

https://www.wsj.com/econo...263bc900?mod=hp_lead_pos4

But hey man. What do the experts know? We are real men here, and I know we like to stand by our word and put our money where our mouths are.

Shall we say $100 straight up?

Ah hello! The man who eats eggheads for lunch!

For you, shall we say $500 straight up? Just think how easy it would be for you: a real man, a businessman, talking about a real thing like the economy, all against some rando dweeb you could eat for lunch. You would never lose that bet.

😂

Sorry, you have the wrong site. The PMSNBC site is 2 URLs down. This forum talks hockey, which is aploitical thank goodness. We have enough to argue about already.

Are you sure the interaction you are part of can be characterized as "talks" in the human sense? To me it seems more like the mournful call to suicide for those who care for the future of civilization and learn that it is not worth preserving.

cool story, bro. Still a fan of the Reds? They did famously well couple of years ago, iirc.

There is a guy in Philly who runs a very popular eatery in south Philly. He is British, and a Spurs fan. He makes a bunch of Brit foods: pie and mash, jellied eels, fish and chips, and imports a bunch more: Colmans, Marmite etc. Also a hockey fan.

Hey comrade, how hard would it be to search the internet and find an article by an expert saying the economy will be better under Trump? Not difficult. Americans have experienced some things. First how the liberal elite left simply fabricates stuff and is not forthright or honest. Secondly, all Americans actually experienced the Trump economy before the pandemic. Unfortunately, we've also experienced the Biden economy. Polls taken actually asking Americans who the economy was better under, say Trump. It's not actually your word against his. It's the word of the country. Which is a big part of why Trump is leading in all the polls and the Dems are panicking. About to likely usurp democracy and force Biden out.

Here is the only bet needed. The voters will decide who they want to run the country.

Your insistence on offering bets to people online is absurd on it's face and shows your insecurity as well as a lack of intelligence,
