Do we really think he's that good? It's so rare for players picked in the teens to make the jump immediately, I'd be doubtful lightning struck twice for us in 2 years.
- QuinnFan

I think his ceiling is higher than Benson, and he's probably as NHL ready. Thing is, is his Finish club going to let him out of his contract to play in Buffalo/Rochester - what's the protocal?

I'd leave him over there instead of Roch.

Roch is packed enough. Let the kid thrive in Liiga make the jump next year IMO.

Guess I'd just say Lafferty plays a lot of wing, so there are options. We're talking about a cheap 4th line and none of them have to play every night.

There also isn't much C depth in the org, so that gives Krebs some extra value.

Nightmare side is something KA does well. Keep him around, Lindy sits him most nights, and you're left with near worthless player a year from now.

- Lunaion

Disagree - maybe not NHL ready this year, but the organization has really good C depth:
Kulich (though Sabres may uses him as a winger)
Oslund
Wahlberg
Helenius
Not sure if any of the Russian prospects are Centers

Disagree.
I'm not concerned about if Rich is stacked or not, the 1 year to acclimate his game to NA ice surface and physicality is key to speeding his development to NHL... IMO of course

Yea adding a last years Benson does not solve anything

Agreed they need to make a move for a top 6 forward or a legit 3c that has the ability to play up

- ieetbred

Did they not just trade Savoie for one?

Agree with you. If you think he's NHL ready next year, bring him over. If you think it will take 2+, let him go back. More about adjusting to NA than development. Liiga is probably better for development.

Why is development better in Liiga? I do not know anything about the league so the question is posed for me to learn.

AHL is a goonish league, it's a tough place for kids. SHL and Liiga are more skilled pro leagues, without the punishment.

While this is true, as far as punishment goes, the rinks in the euro leagues are bigger. Gotta get used to playing in tighter venues.

Overblown maybe, childish all the way around? Really?

Maybe its childish to pay for the tickets that pay the professionals playing a childs game acting childish

Not good to hear that about tuch. He was part of the problem last year

- ieetbred

Somehow I’m childish?

If you act immature or bratty, you're being childish. A childish dinner guest might pout because you didn't make dessert. While the adjective childish is sometimes used to simply mean "like a child," it's more common to use childlike in this way

I get that it’s July, but post better

Thank you as I thought it was Okposo. I agree. Should we trade him?
- TC4145

I wouldn’t trade tuch. I just don’t give him a letter.

And Okpsoso was interviewed and said aome interesting things. So that was pretty annoying as well

It also makes you learn how to drive to the net.

See Alex nylander for a majority of his career. Perimeter player.

What are you on about

If tuch was crying about fans rightly being pissed off and rightly calling for granatos job then he is the one who needs to grow up

I simply suggested if its childish all the way around then make it all the way around

If Rosen can be fine with the physicality of the AHL, I think he should be fine. Losing the time and space will make him think quicker in the A vs Liga.
