Might be the best place for Zucker, in front on the PP - Buff36
McLeod I bet will be used for a lot of faceoff situations.
For example maybe he starts on the ice for PP1 to win a draw. We know that we suck at faceoffs |

For sure it is. Getting a dirty goal guy in place is vital. Tuch can probably be there. Cozens might be able to as well. Gotta have hands. - TheSabresTaco
This, speed and being able to process the game quickly. Benson should be a guy up front. He is sneaky, finding holes in the PK to get a shot off.. just needs the guy down low who can find him.
Edit: maybe Dahlin should be moved down low to be the distributor, ala Kucherov. Let Byram play up top. |

I am not sure they can go with 4 forwards and 1 d man on both pps
lack of point scorers up front
amazing how the depth looks when you yank mitts and skinner off the roster |

Yup.
As many have said, most notably you early on.. BO Skinner and not replacing him is mind boggling.
I remain hopeful that Kulich can win, not be given, the 2LW spot with Cozens and Quinn |

Probably planning on running Power + Byram on the 2nd PP anyways.

Finally we got a guy who looks like a hockey player and not a babyfaced backup dancer for Harry f'ing Styles. |

He's still undecided. When Potulny left to coach the Wolfpack he backed out of Northern Michigan. - twistedwrister9
I feel like the Sabres have a few college players that have been in the system forever now. |

So we hope Ruff can ?
1- Bring confidence
2- System and Accountability

What else, that's a bunch to ask right of the bat |

Add fix Tuch tage and cozens
It’s amazing how cozens figured it out at the world championships.
Prior to leaving … he looked like a lost dog carrying the puck and shooting.
(Completely understand that team Canada had an all star team and lesser competition) |

Make actual in-game adjustments
Get a little angry back there when it's warranted/show some emotion
Tell any purse-swingers to grow a pair and play with passion |

I think the above layout is interesting. I like the concept of having Dahlin down low in the FO circle to distribute the puck...finding Benson sneaking in and out |

Insert "get Adams fired" as #1, bump the rest down. |

I don't know. You really like the idea of Dahlin as net front guy? Both your low F's have to do that.

Rick Dudley, who celebrated a big win with the Florida Panthers last month, will enjoy his day with the Stanley Cup during a public event at Griffon Brewery and Gastropub in Lewiston next week.

The Carolina Hurricanes placed Evgeny Kuznetsov on unconditional waivers Wednesday, terminating the rest of his contract.
Kuznetsov, 32, had one year left on the seven-year, $64.2 million contract which he signed with the Washington Capitals back in 2017. The Canes were on the hook for $6 million of the $8 million Kuznetsov was owed this season.
"Ultimately, both sides agreed this was the best course of action for both the player and the team," general manager Eric Tulsky said. "We thank Evgeny for his time with the team and wish him and his family the best." |

I watch alot of The Bolts, and that spot is Kucherov's on their PP, with Point in the Benson spot. Kuch doesn't go to the net front at all, he is in the FO circle exclusively and the puck goes to him. Dahlin, to me is closet to Kuch the Sabres have...slippery and a distributor with a wickedly accurate shot. It works well for them. Closest I can come up with. The thought of Byram at the top is intriguing to me as well...a guy in motion alot |
