Go 1 year on a Prove it deal. The money, whatever it is for a 1 year deal is inconsequential, however seeing him for another year as a starter is invaluable.

Don't go 2 years as that walks him straight to UFA.

I think everyone and their grandma agree that we need a top 6 forward still.

If we don’t trade for one. I agree it’s blocking Kulich and Rosen on the 3rd line.

If I am Adams though. I can’t imagine banking on Kulich on the 3rd line and benson or zucker on the 2nd line.

I would be really nervous rolling the dice on that.

Yes it does. Arb is an ugly situation for teams where they rip a player in half on why they don’t deserve XXX amount of dollars.

If they overpay him at 6 mil this year they can’t sign him to anything under that going forward if he plays well.

It absolutely matters what they pay him this year. Not only for QO but everything else.

Didn’t we were last year that one year deals absolutely have an effect on how good or bad the team would be.

If you fails at 6 million then you have a bad $6 million goalie eating up cap Space that you could’ve used for somewhere else.

Sign UPl if appropriate to a med-term contract after this Arb deal next season, Sign Levi to a Bridge Deal.. then make appropriate decision in 3 years.

You can do it but then you pigeon hole yourself in negotiations for a long term deal. ie Boeser, Kotkaniemi.

Ziemer McCarthy and Kleber are in the summer showcase.

All three expected to make it (imo) especially Kleber and Ziemer.
