They don't have any picks to use really, I would want them to retain atleast 3mill. Send NY Joker I get Trouba and Kakko and the Rangers get 4 or 5 mill in Cap space.

I doubt NYR have any interest in retaining, also would expect Buff to be on his 15 teams no trade list (given we the have cap space). NYR would likely have to go the shady route again: they waive Trouba and we claim him but if I'm taking the full 8 mil for two years, its gonna be Joker for Kappo. More importantly, it depends on what our projected 25/26 cap will look like (isn't Skinner buyout a big hit that year).

Buffalo is close enough that she can Finish her Residency in New York. Has a Year left and then Buffalo offers 2 of the Best Hospitals in Brain Study and Therapy and that is what She wants to get into. Someone in her Family was affected by some Brain Disease and is something big to Her. Give Trouba props for thinking of Her Goals too.

If she is happy with the current situation, I assume she wants to just finish the last year there. I think Trouba would just rent while in Buffalo, keep the residence in NYC for her, and try to spend as much time as possible with her in NYC. Trouba would probably look to just block the 15 best potential trade options and hope to stay in NYC (until at least next year).

Guessing other teams offer’s would be better than joker? The guy nobody wanted in a trade and was a healthy scratch last season .

Emotional for most of my in-laws as their Dad passed away 16 months ago, and his birthday was July 4th. We all had a great time though as there is more family members in that town than in Rochester where my in-laws settled 60 years ago.
