I mean . . being fair about it, Woll has never been the starter (edit: was he the starter in the AHL? I guess maybe he was just sort of passed over because of injuries?) whereas Andersen has been for all of those comparative years.
For a guy you expect to play 50 - 55 games, Freddie is running at 40% to target. Like even in 2020-21, you'd have expected him to play around 35 out of 56.
Don't get me wrong - I like that he came back last year and looked fantastic and I sincerely wish him nothing but the best. I thought he was fantastic here for at least 3 years, but confidence is king and he had lost it behind this team's defense. |
