hows the flooding cleanup going? - drexel
Couple dudes picked up a large, live common carp off the flooded Bayview Ave and presumably took it home to (frank) it.

I make a giant cioppino for our annual fishing trip in the fall. Guys won’t let me cook anything else. Fresh caught walleye is magic in there. Yummy. |

Jesus.
I caught a Bowfin last summer on Wellers Bay. I’d never seen one and had to look up WTF it even was!
Pic for proof - that sucker put up a really good fight!

Ah, mussels.
Boiled in water from the dirtiest part of the Nakdong River with red pepper sauce, 6 bottles of rice wine, and squid-less onion pancakes.
At least, in times past.
JT stays captain and scores the OT goal to bring the Cup home. While I've bemoaned his contract in the past, it is what it is, and he still has value.
That said, re-sign at 5 x 4 million, or "Go mentor in San Jose." |

He’s on the last year of his big contract but like it or not he’s still a second line C by quite a bit. Average price for one is $5 million, so as long as he doesn’t go down notably further this season he’ll cost $5-6 million and be kept around. |

I agree Tavares is still fine as your 2nd line centre, although maybe a move to the wing might be better suited with him losing speed (which will likely continue as the years go by).
Signing him again at a 5-6M AAV would be a great deal for the Leafs. He'd likely get more than that on the open market.
This being said, him leaving or at least not costing 11M a season will be a huge relief for the Leafs.

Tavares is going to retire a Leaf...Even if they offered him a deal similar to what Tampa offered Stamkos |
