Having gone through an evac last summer and driving through places that looked like this, I feel so awful for the people that live there.

Their provincial government has been steadily cutting the budget for firefighting for years now, some of this definitely could have been prevented.

Agree 100 percent. Since well over 67% of all fires going in BC and AB currently are man-made it would be nice to shift the focus to actually catching the folks setting these fires. Many intentional. Having said that it is bloody awful however and My GF and I have put ourselves down to help out some families out there.

But Northy maybe focus on your search for the 'humungous of Vancouver' lol instead of your forest fighting views which are clearly skewed there lil' champ.

Well imo provinces facing wildfire pandemics should get relief on equalization. Provinces like Quebec have been a drain on funds.

Reform is a highly needed change in the equalization formula amongst probably other issues provinces face for their own concerns.
