Been watching a lot of highlights, summer boredom, I can say a few things for certain:
1. We're lucky Keefe is gone. His D pairings alone should have gotten him fired.
2. Brodie was absolute trash all season.
3. Lilyjigren is (frank)ing horrible. Trade him.
4. Samsonov wasn't the goalie we needed.
5. Rielly needs a good DEFENSIVE partner.
6. For $11M Tavares was not in enough highlights. He's not worth that cap hit, even if he's a PPG player.
Good notes:
1. Holmberg, McMann did really well.
2. Knies is a (frank)ing beast and WILL have a true break out year this year.
3. Bert and Domi played well for the Leafs last season, would've been nice to keep both.
4. Jones saved our ass a few times, not enough to keep.
5. McCabe and Beniot were the Leafs best D pairing. Glad Keefe didn't (frank) that up.
6. So glad our D is now Rielly, Tanev, Beniot, McCabe andOEL and hopefully Hankanpaa.
7. Stolarz should be a big help too.
Lily should be traded in a package for a 3C...like a Jenner would be perfect.
Robertson for a bad ass 4th line winger....or trade him and sign Blais as mentioned.

D and G are going to be the best we've seen in years.
With a couple additions on the F group as above, might not be a bad season. Not sure it fixes the playoffs issue but can't be worse. Better coach, better D, better G and the pussies one year older. Hmmm?!?!?!
