Nah momma Trouba had nothing to do with it
- Slimtj100

This is just a bad take, TJ. Even if there was a shred of truth behind it, it’s wrong to blame a player’s family. End of the day this is a game. That’s their life…

Chytil is also really good in the corners…until he bumps his noggin
- Bean_Dip

I’m definitely not as worried heading into next year as I was prior to him coming back. I think the org is feeling the same way. Fil could breakout finally which makes a heckuva lot better

I was trying to joke about it ffs.

But to say his wife had no pull in this is silly. And why he wasnt traded

I’m in the camp of either way getting Trouba out of here. I’m happy he’s here because he’s intimidating and still good enough to play in the NHL. It’ll be good being sheltered on the 3rd pair tbh

Oh I had no intention of that. This is the response I wanted, because deep down in the chamber of heart, I know that you know GMCD is not that guy. Buy you have to pivot to homo erotic projections.

Kind of a make or break season for him. I’m excited and optimistic.

I'm not concerned about what rich people do off the ice and how they make their lives work, it's no consequence to me, and that's what the Trouba's are, they are rich people, all I care about is the Rangers

but, he has a 15 team NTC on it and apparently used it to block a trade to a team could have relieved us of the last two seasons of his contract, and apparently we need to live with that at least one more year

He’s still a core piece of the team if he’s on the ice for game 1, and I don’t hate that. I’ll root like hell for him, too.

But yeah, need to reevaluate this situation next year, no doubt.

What I like about this line is that cuylle is more than willing to go into the corners and support kakkos possession game, which Zib and CK refused to do
- Greschnergy#4

Agreed Kakko has played his best hockey with Chytil as his center and I think Cuylle fits the line well. For all the hand wringing in here I'm excited about what our top 9 will look like next year. I think Smith is an upgrade from what we started last year with at RW1 and we still have plenty of cap space to use for upgrades during the year

Completely within the rights of his contract. Can’t blame Trouba for this. Blame whoever gave him the right and his agent for getting it in his contract.

The crazy thing lost in all of this is that Trouba made this difficult because he wants to be here. I’m down with that.

Cuylle Chytil Kakko. Kakko is at his best playing with fil. It’s nothing spectacular, but that’s what they need to do for Kakko to succeed imo

You and I were talking about Byfield and Lafreniere before. Intelligently. Have you had a hockey conversation with Tom today?

I’m glad he didn’t go to NJ somehow. I betcha they’re on his ok list

I think it would a shock if he played past next year in NYR sweater. Residency ending, they need every penny imaginable, etc. writing is on the wall. Similar to Goodrow

I know Jan mentioned him, but maybe Mancini is part of the future plans post Trouba

Would be nice to see someone develop on the right side again
