You and I were talking about Byfield and Lafreniere before. Intelligently. Have you had a hockey conversation with Tom today? - jimbro83
Because I dont feel a need to respond to Toms post, A fire Drury post doesnt need a response to.
Smith over Duclair doesnt need to be pounded into the ground either, I agreed with you Smith for one year is better than Duclair for 4. If Tom doesnt agree, you arent going to change his mind.
Do you think Laffy signs short term or goes long? |

You’re ok with Tom’s schtick, but not jimmys….hmmmmm. - Slimtj100
Tom just repeats what he says over and over, Jimmy lashes out cursing and losing his mind, there is a difference. |

I prefer Lafreniere go long. But I agree with you a 3 year extension for Byfield money is real possibility and I could definitely live with it |

Im not sure either way though, meaning short and long. If he doesnt see PP1 time maybe he signs short and sees himself on PP1 in a few years and putting up bigger points thus a bigger payday. But Long term security is of course comfortable to know you have. He is only 22 so a 7 year contract would bring him to 29 and possibility a huge payday. |

I am a Rangers season ticket holder for more than 10 years. I go to a minimum of 15 games and every playoff game and this is the best team since the 90s and there should be more posts like mine- being excited about this team - most positive posts are either ignored or ostracized. Just my take |

I am trying to make it a place where that can happen.
This is my beef with Jan. He does nothing to try to make this happen. |

But fire Drury because of it haha - Slimtj100
Where does it say that? Trouba having the clause isn't Drury's fault. Drury allowing all of this to be leaked is Drury's fault.
The Brothers long island are in for a ROUGH one today. |

Is it possible that it wasn’t Drury who “allowed” this to be leaked? Maybe it was another team to cause chaos for the Rangers. Or Trouba’s camp? Is that possible? |

Rangers are a very good team needing a few more pieces of the puzzle. Not far off. Cap hell and roll of the die on players to fit.
Next 2 season will determine if moving on from some players is necessary. Zib will be GM by the end of his contract, so he's staying. |

Enter McJesus if that should happen. That might very well be Drurys end game. That and drafting Hulk Hogan 2.0 forwards
Connor could get a blank check (from Drury) by that time. Panarin off the books too. |

I felt like we had a legitimate chance last year. Like deep in my plums I thought we’d get there. It ended with a well fought loss in the ECF to the eventual cup winner.
I think we’re better on paper to start the year this year. Ready for them to break through! |

Again, Brukie doesn't support me on this issue. He and I just simply exist. I don't know what he thinks of Drury. But do you see he and I constantly fighting? Nope. Crazy right?
The blind faith Drury earned after not preforming or caring as player and then carrying his attitude over to the GM role where he's supported 99.9 of the time doesn't add up to me. I member when we celebrated his departure as a player. I member. |
