current cap space is probably a shade under 6 million depending on who makes the team

so if you say Lindgren gets 4 million, then they have room to make calls ups during the season without sweating it, I think Penguins retention on Reilly Smith actually makes perfect sense, IMO

He should have been fired after an off season that saw revamp a team with:

Reaves, Nemeth, Blais, and Goodrow.

Rangers are a very good team needing a few more pieces of the puzzle. Not far off. Cap hell and roll of the die on players to fit.
Next 2 season will determine if moving on from some players is necessary. Zib will be GM by the end of his contract, so he's staying.

With that being said, me saying I don’t like Drury bc of XYZ and giving examples, is completely different than Tom saying fire Drury and hire Chicharelli bc he wants to see the world/Rangers burn to the ground. We both want him gone, but for completely different reasons. I think he’s hindering our chances at a cup, Tom wants to see the Rangers fail.

I was fine with Tarasenko also. But how does it cost us a 1st and 4th, and the following year 3rd and 4th? He got fleeced once again. Mikkola wasn’t the reason for a difference in a 3rd becoming a 1st.
