So in 3 years when Michkov gets his extension, as long as he’s everything we hope him to be, the Flyers will be paying $20 mil for 2 RW, and one of them will be 22 and the other will be 30 with 6 years left on his contract.

What a train wreck. I was holding out hope that they would come to their senses. I don’t like this deal at all and I doubt it will age well. Hopefully there isn’t a no trade clause. Who in their right mind would take on this contract? Just a bad move.

8 years and close to $9 per too much. I think I'm done. This is a huge mistake, and I don't have enough time left to waste it watching this shlt go on and on.

I am talking about market value. It’s makes no sense for this team to pay him but it’s likely what he would get on the open market.

Flyers always overvalue their own. It’s baked into the franchise.

All I’m going to say is, I don’t like the extension in both cost and term. I like TK but there is absolutely no question he was more valuable in a trade. With this said, we knew it was coming. Nobody should be surprised. I have no plans of coming on here all day everyday complaining about something I only need to say I didn’t like one or two times. I’m still a fan. I’ll be ready to watch Michkov is October.

To be the 2nd line RW. Briere and Jones are as dumb as the rest. We all knew it was going to happen but it’s still (frank)ing unbelievable.

If we are lucky he is productive for 4-5 years of this 8 year deal. But the 8 year deals always have an anchor ⚓️ risk. Hopefully another potential dead money anchor guy in Couturier will keep it going a couple of seasons at his usual standard.
