Glad you guys want to start holding yourselves accountable. Should have learned that a long time ago. - Buff36
“I know we’re the youngest team in the League,” Adams said. “I understand that and that’s real and that’s part of where I do think the inconsistency and the ups and downs at times have happened. But we have now players that have experience in this League and have been through the League a few times. That no more needs to be talked about.”

Hopefully they do, cause the last bunch sucked. |

that cap in 26-27 looks pretty scary right now if the cap does not go up much in 2 years

I’ve mentioned that already when UPL signed. I was told I was wrong by many here.
And I’m talking about the cap hit. Very risky. His value could go up but could also stay the same and have little to no trade value |

6 k is not going to hurt us as much as a few of the other deals IMO
paying a 4th d man 8 mil
a bottom pair d over 4 mil
a 1 year wonder center over 7mil
and by then probably paying quinn 5 mil to be on ir |

Yeah, and what to do with Tuch. Adams needs his plan to start working. Got a lot of his supposed core locked up. If they don't fit Lindy's style then you are really F@cked. |

I'm ready for a blockbuster trade.
The proper leader of this team is not on the roster yet.
What/Who would you go after by offering
Tage
Samuelsson
'25-1st

The bet is he continues to improve his play:
- natural improvement of a 25yo G with a long long runway
- improved play by the defense under a strong HC who focuses on D first
- implementation of competent System and the HC demanding commitment from 5 players on the ice
Reduce the number of HDCA and rely on a above average G who stops a comparatively high percentage of the HDCA presentended to him. |

gotta pay peterka, quinn, tuch, and byram
and possible benson and levi
and while this is all going on skinner counts for almost 6.5 mil that year

IF Lindy can get the Core to play up to their capabilities, they are in pretty decent shape CAP wise.
It's a GIANT sized IF, but each has shown the ability to increase their last seasons production by 25 -50% |

They need to play to there capabilites. And Adams will have to make a decision or 2 on this core, cause he's probably gonna have to trade 1 or 2 |

They are clearly going to rely on a current Prospect on an ELC to displace at least 1, probably 2 Top 9 players, and likely trading out Samuelson if he hasn't established himself as a Top 4 player this season. |

Why trade tage at almost 100 points ?
He’s part of the core for now imo |

Gotta give to get.
I would add to that package for the right guy.
Tage confessing that he and the team took shortcuts last year, then complaining about lack of being held accountable (throwing Granato under the bus) tells me he isn't THE Leader this team needs.
Don't worry, Adams doesn't have the balls to execute a trade like that, and furthermore, he hasn't proven he knows how to identify proper leadership traits given the poop show that has gone on in his tenure.
Tage is a talent no doubt, if they could acquire a bonafide 1C with leadership qualities without trading him, then do it. I would think he would be an essential trade piece in a trade of that caliber. |

Furthermore, since the discussion stemmed from the CAP issue in '26-'27, I would not be shocked if Tuch is traded out before re-signing a then 30yo power forward. I could see him being one of the top 9 displaced.
I do hope he proves me wrong. |

If they don't come close to that there's no way they barely squeak into the 8th seed. |

Tuch is probably retiring here. Should see the (frank)ing house he built.

Yep. Can't forget him too. It's a sad state of affairs when they need everything to go perfect in order to have any shot at the last wild card spot. |

Power is 21. His contract is already a good deal
Samuelssons contract seems movable
Tage tuch and cozens all seem to be 1 hit wonders |
