I honestly don't understand questioning Petey. He's a freakishly good player with a chip on his shoulder about being the best. Most people should understand that it killed him to be bad over the spring. He wants to win and be the best. He didn't have the body to do it because of whatever issue he was dealing with. When he is healthy, he will kill it again. I have zero doubts about his will or his skill. - micah555
Bottom line is Pettersson will be fine given the right line mates. Expecting him to carry a line might be a little much but we'll see how Tocchet handles that. As long as fans realize he's not McDAvid, McKinnon, Matthews Crosby or Ovechkin he's being paid accordingly. Now consistency and injuries he needs to work on which I'm sure he will.

When you get overpaid by 2 plus million, you should be expected to carry a line, kinda like what former Canuck Horvat had to do. As long as there are Pom-pom wavers such as yourself, Lefty and Northy, then these guys will somehow continually get grossly overpaid, then you types will complain when a player that you can win with, gets paid, I am sure the complaints will be relentless

Interesting, so you see Petey as an overpaid, lesser talent, you can’t win with. So as a Bruin fan, does that apply to Lidholm and Zadorov?

Well I guess the same was said of Draisaitl when he signed his contract years ago and look how that turned out for Edmonton. 100+ point players get paid man it's the sign of the times. Like it or lump it Petey was on pace for pretty much exactly the same figures as his previous season but clearly he was somewhat injured after all star break and TDL. Let it play out.

Algerian boxer Imane Khelif says winning the welterweight gold medal at the Paris Olympics “gives my success a special taste’’ because of ”attacks’’ about her womanhood from “enemies of success”.
Shout out to Khelif btw.
Bunch of muppets here sure went quiet pretty quick when they realised they'd been duped by their 'sources'
