Good luck. It also doesn't matter what they say. If you write it for yourself, then as long as you like it that's good enough. I suggest you filter out any bad and focus on the positive's you do hear.
At the request of a couple of friends I put a bunch of crap up on Soundcloud and then they proceeded to not listen to it!
Although I do get it - I am not a singer, so it's just all electronic music with no vocals - and it works for me.

Dammit, MonkeyPunk gotta come in here using facts to poop on my Laine dislike. 
I didn't realize he was that big - the kid is a (frank)ing hulk if he wanted to be. Not that you want him to change into crash and banger, but he would be very hard to move off the puck if he was determined to shield it with his massive suit of meat armor.
I still think the cost would be too high to stomach comfortably, without some significant retention and that would drive the price even higher. Maybe persuade a third team to take some of that salary for a pick.

Laine is Dany Heatley minus the manslaughter. That was the projection in his draft year and it's pretty much the best one to one aside from Laine getting a franchise that would bench him and not let him do what he wanted, plus the substance issues.
I think we all forget the insanity of coaches trying to make him a centre...because he's big. Ugg. Just let him do what he's good at or don't let him out there. |
