Because the Rangers constantly lose.

Truthfully, I dont let the Rangers control my happiness. At 55, Ive learned to let go of the losses and live life. When I was younger, I let the angers bother me for days.

So what's your excuse for the stock market collapse and the economy recession? Give us one rosy outlook please?

I think that's what he meant by feeling superior. I'm not sure how to read this as anything other than superior or a huge hardass.

We all know your feelings on this core. Just because you feel they didn't deserve to be in the ECF doesn't mean that it is true, and based on the survey in the blog most fans of other teams have no problem giving the rangers some credit. It's ok the be disappointed that they haven't won the cup but this complete black and white, either you win the cup or you might as well have been 32nd in the league is where you lose a lot of people.

I, for one, enjoyed last season. The end was disappointing, sure, but that was a really fun season to watch. People can enjoy that without you speaking down to them saying that "you can accept mediocre play but I don't" like you are better than people because you hold a team that doesn't know you from a hole in the ground to a higher standard than some other people on the internet.

When people post during games, they continually criticized the play of our top players but afterward, they give them a pass. Some people accept it, some dont. I dont but in no way do I think Im better than anyone else. I was pumped for the Playoffs too, I thought the Rangers had a good chance to win it all but after watching them play the Canes, my feelings were crushed, they just didnt have it. When they won, I was ok, new series, clean slate but then the Cats were just that much better. The drive was missing.

I really dont understand why people get so upset over my opinion or how I feel about the team and that they take it so personal.

I know from our history you will discount this. I dont write this in a mean way, but you are either communicating your point poorly or you lack self-awareness.

Oh wow, you really want some insight, I will give you some as best as I understand it..

The Federal Reserve says he wants inflation at 2 percent, but he let it rise and rise to 9 percent before raising interest rates. Why did he wait? Who knows. 4, 5, 6 is higher than 2 but he did nothing. Inflation rose for months before he stated to increase rates. Increased interest rates means borrowing money costs more for consumers and business. Once business cant make a profit, they cut jobs to offset the costs, less jobs means higher unemployment rates, unemployment means no money coming into families which in turn dont spend money. Hence recession. Rates have been higher for longer than expected because inflation has been persistent. HIgher rates along with a continual rise in unemployment is some ingredients for a recession.

I think it's mostly that it seems like anytime someone mentions something positive, you insert yourself to say that this core doesn't have what it takes to win. That may be true and you're entitled to your opinion but when people are trying to get excited for the next year and you in essence come in and tell everyone they're wasting their time because this team can't win it rubs people the wrong way.

It's one thing to state that opinion but you are pretty relentless with it. It's not your opinion it's your approach

I get the “win or bust” mentality from players but as a fan? You’re gonna be a miserable sack of poop year after year because only 1 of 32 teams can win. It’s just silly to live like that as an adult human. female dog about players, coaches, gm’s, whatever. That’s part of the fun. But let’s grow up a little here people

I agree, but I don't even blame Brukie for having that attitude. People can watch however they want IMO. It's that he doesn't seem to let anyone else mention a differing viewpoint without inserting his opinion which we've all heard numerous times now.

He admits there isn't much that can be done to change the core but is steadfast in his opinion that they can't win with the core which is just a circle of pessimism which wears thin

This. This is why people take it personally.
When you state your unwavering opinion daily and attach insults to them, you are going to get people's backs up. I have no desire to search back through to see who might have started with whom first. But, either way, it comes off as classless. I'm guilty as well on occasion, but that doesn't change that fact.

The irony here is something.

However, let's not goad one another friends. Save the anger for me and the Rangers inability to do what is necessary.

Years ago when the Rangers were building this roster, after writing the rebuild letter, I made posts that signing these superstar players was a mistake because these players have never won anything and only put the team in Cap hell, I was relentlessly attacked and belittled from the likes of Gresh, James and Tj to name a few, now that this team hasnt won a Cup yet and of course IMO wont with this roster construction, Im sorry to hurt some peoples feelings but it is what it is.

I guess there are multiple questions- the first were meant to be rhetorical. I wanted one rosy outlook about any subject you want

I think I see ok. Perhaps you are right and Pickle was being sarcastic about your age. I took it as being the same as my surprise to find out that you are not considerably older. From your posts since you joined us I did think you were a senior citizen. No offense meant, just the way I perceived your comments.
