I think Philly is going to surprise some people this year. I just checked FanDuel and their predicted standings are

Lot of love for the Devils. They were last years darlings too.

Canes maybe a bit weaker than people think and I think the Caps maybe a bit better.

The Devils on paper look strong. If they are healthy, they could take the Metro.

For some of you, I wouldn't be revealing your ages based on the way you act online.

Bottom line: The Rangers are a winning team, more consistently than not. Making the "overachiever" argument moot. Drury has not found the right recipe to push them over the edge to win the cup and/or the circumstances haven't been right. That's the only goal and anything else is disappointing when your team IS a winning team. If your team is a losing team, you only focus on rebuild and not winning the cup. Everything else is opining and debate on how to Monday quarterback the team. Winning the cup is (frank)ing hard!!
