All i can say is they had time to try him but didn't. He was healthy and playing 16+ min for 20 games before Drysdale was acquired (and 15 before Zamula scored his 1st pp pt) and the coach of the league worst PP didn't view him as an option.

When did they have time to try Risto on the PP? He played 31 games last season total. Early in the season you know Cam York was going to get the early looks. He apart of the future. What was were circumstances? Risto was hurt right out of camp and was reinjured later.

York, Sanheim, Drysdale, Walker and Zamula all played on the power play before landing on Zamula.
