yet you call others dumb.

You won’t elaborate on this because you can’t. Thanks for playing.

You want them to be the 7th so you can save pennies on the dollar for them to not play games. Makes sense.

You need to ice an AHL team too.

You play Risto, trade at the TDL, hopefully get some cap savings, open a roster spot for one of your AHL hero’s for the end of the year.

Then you have York, drys, zam and one of those 3. You get one inevitable injury and now you have 2 of those 3 guys playing.

Be patient, not stupid.

Ok. Any updates on the mighty Risto? Flyer really have gone silent on his injury. Hopefully not a rare one like the one in a billion case named Ellis.

It does worry me. Elliott Friedman said there actually was interest in Risto with a few teams but it was the type of deal that would be better suited in the off-season vs mid season. I forget if this was pre injury or after he was injured. If he’d been healthy last year there’s a chance he would have been traded by now. Perhaps teams now want to see him in action before committing. They say everyone’s on track for camp. Doesn’t mean much though because we’ve heard that before.

As a side note - I don’t have a problem with things like that. Some fans look at it as being lied to. Others see it as not telling the entire world every facet of their situation. I think the quieter they are with stuff like this the better. Tight lips are possibly the reason we ended up with Ellis haha

what does that have to do with asking you if your wife uses your razor to shave?
- hello it's me 2050

Why would you want to know if my “pig wife” shaves? At least I want to know if you and your man are happy

Someone will 100% take Risto, GMs love big nasty Dmen. Any deal likely requires a contract sent back or retianed salary which im not a fan of. He will be hard to move but he can be moved.

Ellis I think can be moved easily. Contenders want those contracts for the LTIR to exceed the cap.

Flyers have Petersen, Ryan Johansen coming off the books, thats 7-8 mill right there. Ellis you know is LTIR for the rest of his career so they can exceed the cap by 6 mill

DeAngelo is off the books next season

EJ off the books next season

Hayes and Atkinson the season after that. (Approx 5 mill)

Flyers have 17.705 mill in free cap to sign 3 RFAs(That we care about) + Ellis LTIR space + the cap increase

Flyers can also move someone like Laughton out for 3 mill in space. Cates is currently making more than Hathaway, I doubt that continues. Probably something more comparable to Deslaurier or Poehling.

Deslaurier can also be waived and sent down if needed as well. It would bury most of his contract.

Cap situation isnt great but its far from bad.

No one outside of TK, Coots and Sanheim have NTC so literally anyone on the team could be moved at any point. Nothing is locked aside from 3 players.

Technically we can still trade tk until July 1
