he doesn't sound like the most enthusiastic individual. during the interview he'd probably be like "I can't guarantee they'll still be alive but I think I can put the animals in their cages if I try hard enough".

i read a story last week about a guy who made himself out to be an animal lover so he could get his hands on people's dogs as soon as someone needed to rehome a dog. i don't even want to talk about what they found out was going on, but the vast majority of the dogs ended up dead in a shipping container.

this world sucks.

jfc... apparently even PETA representatives have mistreated and killed animals, so yeah, it's all kinds of (frank)ed up.

You didn't read well enough. The man was (to the public; former colleagues said he stole their contacts, basically) a respected crocodile expert, his sanctuary even got Sir David Attenborough to visit.
