I had a good friend in cegep who was of the faith and told me it doesn't count (drinking or eating pork) if someone else of the faith doesn't witness it

Yeah I have a Berber colleague who, when gifted with jamon serrano from a Spanish colleague, said "just tell me it's chicken".

lol, it's actually a scene from Cruising Bar, which is a classic movie from Quebec starring Michel Côté, who plays the 4 different main characters.

one of the characters is a shy nerdy guy who at some point ends up dancing in a gay club, but it takes him quite a while before realizing there's only gay people in the bar loll.

it really is, still holds up today too

the second movie was a let down though, it didn't really bring new ideas so it was rather pointless.

it has its moments, but it was still an unnecessary sequel imho. it's kinda hard to follow-up on such a classic.

Somethings need to be left untouched. Think the hangover, it was so over the top the first... Why bother trying to top it

yeah, that's another example of just basically repeating the same plot all over without really adding anything new.

I feel like floods are going to become a more and more common thing in the years ahead, I think I might buy a kayak, always wanted one anyway.

they always have to say it in my area but thankfully where i actually live it's not an issue. i don't need to be worrying about that too.

we have a couple wellknown roads to steer clear of when there's a real downpour (god damned brooklawn circle!) but that's about it here.

i guess the warnings are really for the shore towns and the areas down there. i'm probably 30 or 40 minutesworth of driving from that area.
