He has no path to the NHL on that team right now, so I think that is more of an issue than anything else.

it's funny, in our white trash neighborhoods (my work actually borders on one of these areas), you see these people at the scratch off machines. they're dirty and wearing old clothes and whatnot but they are just pumping tickets out of those machines and taking them outside and scratching them off on top of the garbage can while the discount brand gig burns between their lips. then they head back in for some more tix to scratch off.

if he plays well, with that cap hit he shouldn't be that much of an anchor... you could argue the panthers have an anchor with Bobrovsky, but now that they won a cup they don't really give a (frank) about that anymore lol.

Habs have lots of picks, too many really, over the next few drafts and secondary prospects to make it happen, if they want.
