The one with the stutter doesn’t let us

Anyone else I’d feel bad, but I just can’t get there with him. If I go to hell for feeling like this so be it

- Slimtj100

You are just as bad as your narcissistic brother.

What will it take to keep you away??

Here's a groundbreaking idea... how about we don't make fun of anybody?
I know that isn't what the internet was intended for, but it might be a nice break from routine.

Open question:

From the pre-Hank days, who was your favourite Rangers goalie?

I’ll drop it. If he comes around and acts up tho, I’ll be forced to remind him

Literally all I want to do here is talk rangers. Not for a minute do I want to fight with anyone or anything, but that’s the direction he took this place. And I can guarantee you that Jimmy feels the same way (which is is who you’re referring too).

Jimmy is short, make fun of him

- Slimtj100

Making fun of people leads to a fight, so no lets not make fun of anyone.

Tom never attacked anyone personally. most just dont like his posts, hence why he is attacked.

Richter was my first jersey. Got it as a child in an adult size so it still fits

Richter, making that stop on Bure is the clincher!! I was at the Garden that night when then were broadcasting form Vancouver. That save defined his career IMO.

That one WAS iconic. Beezer was the man when I became a Rangers fan, but it was Richter that got me emotional! In a bitter kind of way, it was his stop on Gagne (I think) in the Sault Lake Olympics in that unbelievable Gold Medal game with his foot curled around behind him up against the post that put him at the top for me. That was one of the greatest teams ever assembled and he made them work non-stop for every bit of success.

As a kid, Giacomin, but too young to be a huge fan. Definitely JD in 79, then VBK followed by Richter. I was able to get a blank original Liberty jersey. Need to find a place to get Richter's name and number added on.

Dont forget Richters play in the 1996 World Cup, even though its not Rangers related. I remember I think it was Chelios after the game there was a mic on the ice and he tells Richter, "You are the best (frank)ing goalie in the world!!"

I don't think I've ever seen that!
(frank), I HATED Chelios.

...and, would've loved for him to be a Ranger!

Good call, Jan. I remember that game very well. Really wanted the US to pull that one out.

I went to the Canada / Sweden semi-final in Philly a few days earlier, that went to 2OT. Another great game as well. Except for the girl who I took on a first date to the game. She absolutely loathed having to sit through a 2OT game and I refused to leave.

Needless to say, it was our last date.
