At a minimum Askarov still has value equivalent to his 11th OA selection point. If you want him you've got to come close to that value in a trade and definitely Robertson, who's basically worth a 3rd right now, isn't coming close on his own. He's an add-in to something of value. The Leafs might get there with Cowan + Robertson, but if a team like Chicago, San Jose or Jersey decided they were interested - they have better pieces, more of them and higher valued draft capital. If I'm a young team on the rise, I would definitely be calling Nashville with some type of significant offer.

I think he probably has the value of what Schneider did in Vancouver. Or something similar. With goalies, it's always hard to say. But guys like him and Wallstadt are basically universally seen as "a sure thing" as goalies get...whether that ends up true or not...?
