I’ve probably hated him more than any other player in my life time. Less so over time, but still loath him.

With that said, in a 1 for 1 swap, in a year where on paper the Rangers may have their best shot at it, yes I’m making that trade. We could learn to forgive if he brought us a cup.

But back to reality, I do expect a bounce back from Zib and hope to see Pittsburgh miss the playoffs again.

Hating the Penguins and respecting Crosby overall as a hockey player are 2 different arguments. Guy is going to finish his career top 5 all-time in points.
In 2002 would you not have preferred to swap Lemieux for Messier? It’s fair to say you’d prefer a generational talent over your talented player for the upcoming season. It’s the offseason, why get pissed off about a hypothetical that won’t happen.
