I got a black friday special from Walmart that has been fine 55" 4k (not the good kind). Works fine. My dad in his old age is becoming one of those bit watchers and is all about every single detail in the resolution, but I just need it to work and look good...plus not die immediately like your friends

I used to own a 42" tv, had it for a loooooooong time before I gave it away to a friend who needed one and had no money.

Trust me on this. When you get bigger, you realize 40" isn't enough.
