I didn't know Demidov struggled that much with English, it obviously made the interview a bit harder for everyone, but you can tell the kid is confident AF.

the only thing I wish is that they hadn't removed the debates surrounding other players that weren't drafted by the habs, but NHL teams never talk about guys that aren't part of their own organization, so I guess that was to be expected.

edit: the Michael Hage story is pretty awesome too, and he could actually end up being a very good player for the habs, I wish him the best

I was surprised to actually hear them in their meeting that the guy they targeted at 21 was Hage.

When they said it at the draft I figured "well they're saying that NOW, but probably had a group of players they could have picked" but turns out it really was about getting him in particular if he was still available, which they doubted.

Good for them that they got both!
