right?! like, there's only 2 results a pregnancy test can give you and she managed to look at the damn thing and tell me she was pregnant. after a good few minutes of contemplating if the carbon monoxide method still works i grabbed the thing myself, looked at the directions, and we probably should have been able to laugh about it after that but we was pretty shook.

yeah, you shouldn't be bothered by other people's beliefs imho, especially if they don't directly have an impact on you.

you guys know what i think of religion already but if it makes people feel better, i figure let them believe it. it's when they start trying to push it that i start to have a problem with it.

and "thoughts and prayers", while cringy indeed is just something some people say because it's what people are conditioned to say. i might even say it to someone in a situation like this and i haven't prayed since lisa wolf misunderstood the pregnancy test results.

My position on religion has always been if it helps people have a better life, good for them. I fully support that.

My issue with religion has been when people try to impose it on others... and especially those mega church fraudsters who abuse their power.

I think at some point, no matter how careful, a lot of people have had that scare in their lives. Many people more than once, the smart people learnt from the first time.
