I absolutely am. York is better than Provorov. Foerster is already better than Patrick.

"Zero" may be a bit of a stretch, but I can understand people's pessimism.

My biggest question is the goaltending. If Ersson can take a step up with his development and Fedotov can acclimate himself with the North American game, we have a decent chance.

I'm not expecting Michkov to come in and have the effect that Lindros had - nobody ever has - but if he can settle in quickly, he'll have a perceptible impact on their chances.

Would agree... Devils arent missing the playoffs this year . Expect they will replace Islanders...Caps will be improved...Pens will be desperate to try and make it. Flyers will be in the 10 to 15 slot in the draft. Not good enough to make playoffs not bad enough to get a top pick

You aren't. You made the statement that Hextall did not draft well. The standard that you used in the past to rate Flahr's drafting was that if a player drafted played 200 games, it was a good pick. If your standard was used, that means that Hextall drafted well. Hextall drafted 8 players that meet that criteria in 4 drafts.

You also further disqualified yourself from having any credibility in rating players by stating that Celebrini is not at Michkov's level.

Carolina is a playoff lock barring major injuries. Ottawa is better than the Flyers.

With Washington, last season at center, Strome led them with 67 points. The next closest center was McMichael with 33 points. Dubois is capable of improving them there.

There is basically 1 spot open for Phi, Ott, PIT, WSH, NYI, Sabres and Detroit. NYR, CAR, NJD, FLA, BOS, TOR and TAMPA are most likely in. Not sure why you think Carolina is gonna fall off the face of the earth. I think the Flyers take a step back this year because of their defense and goaltending. There are surprises every year though and as usual injuries can factor into things.

They were close to being a playoff team last year. If Coots can stay healthy and effective all season and Drysdale and Michkov can improve the powerplay; it’s possible.

Hathaway can do it. Reality is likely wont need protection outside of teams with PoS on their roster like Trouba, McAvoy, Wilson ect. You know those guys will be looking to cheap shot MM
