The Flyers training camp roster

Left Wings (5)

Noah Cates, Nicolas Deslauriers, Elliot Desnoyers, Oscar Eklind, Joel Farabee

WOW! This has to strike fear across the league!

Centers (11)

Rodrigo Abols, Jon-Randall Avon, Denver Barkey, Sean Couturier, Morgan Frost, Rhett Gardner, Scott Laughton, Jett Luchanko, Ryan Poehling, Anthony Richard, Massimo Rizzo

Anxious to see how Rizzo stacks up. Heard some good things about Abols and Gardner, and Richard is a competent NHL 4th liner. All eyes on Jett however!

Right Wing (10)

Bobby Brink, Tyson Foerster, Alexis Gendron, Garnet Hathaway, Travis Konecny, Olle Lycksell, Matvei Michkov, Owen Tippett, Samu Tuomaala, Zayde Wisdom

Yeah Baby!!!! Let's Go! I would really love to see Lycksell make the team but its a numbers game at RW. Maybe he can move to LW.

Defense (16)

Emil Andrae, Ronnie Attard, Louie Belpedio, Oliver Bonk, Jamie Drysdale, Ryan Ellis (IR), Adam Ginning, Helge Grans, Erik Johnson, Hunter McDonald, Rasmus Ristolainen (IR), Ethan Samson, Travis Sanheim, Nick Seeler, Cam York, Egor Zamula

Looking forward to seeing Louie Belpedio in the starting lineup

please share what you "heard" about abols. what has anthony richard shown to be a "competent" nhl 4th line player? seems like a quick call up type to fill in for a few games. nothing more.

belpedio looked solid in his 12-game stint. he warranted a longer look. maybe he could have been your next seeler who turn into an nhl dman a little after being written off.

The only one making a fool out of himself is you. You have no eff'n clue about San Jose's prospects. You have never even seen them play. You only know what you read, in fact you wouldn't even know anything about Will Smith if it were not for me. Beyong Celebrini, Smith and Richard1nson you can't even pronounce their names for peete's sake!

The bottom line is, Flahr in my opinion has drafted better than Hextall. If you want to walk the plank with Hextall, have fun sitting at the bottom of the sea!

the facts do not support that at all as we sit here today.

Go look at saint ronnies first 3 years and Flahr first 3 with the flyers.

would you take the flyers prospects over the sharks prospects?

Nobody has seen every prospect play enough to form an opinion on every player. Celebrini is a higher rated prospects than Michkov is! I provided that information to you. Yet here you are saying that the SJ doesn't have anyone on Michkov's level, so that puts the Flyers prospect base above SJ's. LOL

San Jose (All 3 rated in the top 11 among NHL prospects)
SJ Celebrini (rated higher than Michkov)
Smith ( 1C potential)
D!ckinson (1D potential)

Flyers (Only Michkov rated in the top 10)
Michkov
No other player rated with 1C potential
No defenseman rated with 1D potential

How do you know I can't pronounce anyone's name? LOL

It has nothing to do with the actual results and everything to do with your inconsistencies and complete inability to assess anything in hockey.

You can't factually prove that Flahr drafted better than Hextall.

What I meant was if Briere trades enough veterans, the team will lose enough games to get into the top 10. Like last year, that swoon at the end dropped the Flyers from around 17 to 12. I agree that teams are not trading out of the 10, unless its a gross overpay. That is why my guess is the Flyers trade their picks for established players.

Falling from 17 to 12 did absolutely nothing. They would of gotten the same guy.

That isnt necessarily true. I have read many things suggesting Luchenko was high on many other teams lists. Someone else would have taken him between 12-17 IMO

Looking at the picks who were taken I am not sure I agree. Washington may have taken him at 17. Buium(D), Helenius(C), Brandsegg-Nygard(RW), Jiricek(D), Parascak(RW).
