The blue and gold games atmosphere is mostly very flat. Try going to a Tuesday night game in the middle of winter. It’s almost like a morgue.

I believe that was 22-23, he tapped in 14 with 18 apples last year. If we can get him to return to his Pittsburgh ways, we're good, but he'll have to do it with a lot less. Playing with Malkin and Rust certainly helped there.

Agreed on that. Benson, Quinn, Cozo, Peterka and McLeod are all going to have to figure out how to produce consistently. Obviously we'll get some different point totals there, especially based on TOI, but I think those 5 will make or break us this year.

Tage and Tuch will bounce back.
The 4th line won't produce but should hold opposition down a bit.

He's not wrong... More people were showing up for those games as the team would actually show up an play a full 60 typically. The 90's vibes were better than some of the sh!te they normally do. And who doesn't love watching those older teams and the great calls by RJ.

Overall, it is not strong by any means.

I'd discount the 2/5 traded .. what does that have to do with anything.. other than other teams saw an asset that they wanted to acquire, and the Sabres gained young assets at position of needs. So I'm going to ignore Savoie and Mitts for this exercise.

I have higher hopes for both Cozens and Quinn fulfilling L2 responsibilities. I'm willing to give them more time, STARTING this year to achieve it. Like I said, each needs to hit 70 points. The verdict isn't in yet.
