I had a similar experience years ago at a Sabres ga,me...using company tickets I took my 10 yo son to a game in the 300's, some random guy came up as we were walking up the 1st set of stairs and gave me aisle seats in the expensive portion of the 200's about 5 rows up from the 100's and on a corner...great seats, then he bought my son a pop and me a beer...he refused a reciprocal offer later.
