I don't think many argue that Johnson was playing worse than Clifton when they sent him down.

Johnson surprised everyone with his play early last season. He is young, this team needs to win. He was also arguably the least physical player on the team last year (close to Olofsson) on a Lindy team that's making big efforts to be more physical.

This is one I think they've handled relatively fine, once I divorce it from Erik Johnson.

I don't think many argue that Johnson was playing worse than Clifton when they sent him down.

Think the simple answer there is that he wanted to, but couldn't move Joker. Punt a year, see how Joker and Jonhson play, then make the decision.

The Bryson signing was dumb given they also signed depth d-man Dennis Gilbert who fits better to what they're trying to do now.. And Have RyJo who can come in and play Bryson's style but better.

And also have a few D in Roch who I would not mind coming up in a pinch.

Hopefully Ruff pulls it out of him. He was 3rd in blocks with 115 so hes not afraid to get banged up,

Unfortunately he doesn't have the Balls and would probably hear NO! Adams should got get Rasmus Andersson.

They already had Protas, so was a redundant acquisition. But quite a few Caps fans seem to think he was getting claimed this year. If anything, he was their 12th-13th forward. 13th if Oshie can get back into action, or Backstrom for that matter (unlikely).
