I’m more excited for fantasy part of it.

Bills games last year were such a roller coaster of good bad and ugly. It was hard to enjoy the games.

I expect the same this year due to the 3rd (I think) hardest schedule

Ya, I'm not saying he sucks, infact I said he's likely the best player on the Sabres.

My point was, he is not an elite talent in the league.. very good, maybe as he's had 1 such season so far.

Elite as in, let me put the team on my back and be THE reason they win? He isn't there yet for me... And I don't think he gets there.
I'm talking being one of the 10-15 players in the league... Even just forwards.

An interesting article by Corey Pronman on the talent level of the last 10 or so SC winners showed an elite Forward supported by several other very good forwards. Tage qualifies as one of the very good forwards, not elite yet.

Jack Quinn will be our Superstar.

Thought about this a bit more and I think you're right, I am overvaluing probably. If we rank all 1Cs in the league, he isn't top10. SO we can't really say he's elite if he's middle of the pack in terms of top line centermen. He'd need to break through there. A couple more 90 point seasons, you can definitely get him slotted in much higher, but he needs that first.

He's definitely on the elite side. Hes got a lot of room to be better though IMO. He's also never had a partner that can play on his level until Byram.
