Skinner is gone cause hes 1 dimensional. Cause he refuses to buy in to half of the game. Cause defense actually matters. Cause when you've played bad and its time to look in the mirror, the guys happy go lucky watching shows for women.

It’s not good when you’re (coach) preaching 200’ game and commitment to playing strong without the puck and the $9 million man isn’t interested in that part of the game. Sets a bad example, and makes the coach’s job that much more difficult.

Skinner was 24-22-46 last season. That's not a lot to replace with 1LW + PP1 opportunity. You'd hope Peterka and Quinn eclipse that, even without PP1 time. Frankly, you hope Benson gets there too.
