I think the pegulas have been a problem for some time now but it is the GMs job to take blame and ultimately end up fired when things don't work

He chose to run the same team back and that was a colossal mistake. Fireable in almost any other professional sports franchise

money was no longer an issue for the sabres, yet we were in the top 10 for cap money spent, 1 year since pegula owned the team

I would say as long as the GM truly has the say on roster decisions it can't get any worse

Teams around the league that are as or less favorable in the eyes of players make moves every single year in an attempt to make themselves better

We buy out 30g scorers and then adams talks about top 6 forwards like an unattainable fantasy

It is a better team than last season's roster.

It isn't good enough however, as teams around them are also getting better.
Toronto, Boston, and Florida are your three Atlantic representatives.

7 & 8 Wildcard spots will be a battle between Bolts, Red Wings, Sens, Montreal, Isles, Caps.

Sabres better get off to a fast start and bank some valuable points early.
