damn. it may have changed but over here in Gatineau I would say a popped collar signifies major douchebaggery, but not automatically sociopathic tendencies...

I think both the Italian and 'Murican people can bond in a huge cringe over this.

yeah, that won't be easy. not sure they draft him if his name is not Koivu.
with Suzuki, Dach, Hage, and some others, we're good.

oh I know, I wouldn't necessarily bet on it but it could be a cool story, even if he turns out to be a 4th line grinder

I'll be watching Beck in Laval this season, could very well replace Evans after the tdl

I guess he would be a logical replacement, although I'm not sure he'll be that much better offensively as a lot of people seem to be thinking, he's never really been a goal scorer even in junior with pretty similar numbers to Evans.

Personally, I have no opinion on Beck as of now.
I want to see how he does in Laval before I see him as a replacement to Evans.

similar players imo. I have no problem with Evans as the #4C, they could even extend him. but they may want to trade him for a pick and make room for Beck. time will tell.

oh for sure, from what I've seen from him in pre-season games he didn't look out of place but he'll have to fight for his spot like all the others.

I agree ... I trust our new management team to make the best decision.

They haven't made too many mistakes since they took office, they have my trust until they don't.

yep. only 2 things I could see. the contract to Allen and the time it took to move him, keeping 3 goalies up, and the blind confidance they have in their coach, not hiring a vet to help him out. beside that, pretty darn good.

I have no problem with Marty as it seems the players want to play for him and he has installed a good team atmosphere.

But ... the way we defend when in our own zone has been HORRENDOUS the last few seasons, this has cost us many games.

This year, we should logically score more goals but we must also cut down on goals allowed if we want to progress.
