there are a couple companies i have to keep an eye on (looking at you, comcast!) because they'll just up your bill without telling you and if you don't look you'll just keep overpaying until you call and yell at someone who will eventually bring your bill back down.

I try to stay calm and be nice, because usually the person handling the call isn't directly responsible for the bullpoop, but if they start being condescending or whatever then at that point I stop giving a poop too.

That was where I was pitching. Never been, but people highly recommend it.

i always start out calm. but you always have to go through the same ringer. being transferred from department to department before they finally give in. they are hoping you'll give up. once we get to the point where i've explained that i know the drill and it still is a long process, then i kindly apologize in advance and tell them i know they just work there but.. and then the fun commences.

i once asked one of them if they had to fail an IQ test to get that job.
