I should have clarified talking hockey. Yes, payment plans though that isn't reducing the total cost as at the end of the day you are still paying full freight. You don't pay by the end of the year or a certain date they will not allow you to play the following season or finish that season.

buying used gear is ok if playing at a lower level. once you move up becomes much trickier. most need pro level equipment. you can find used stuff if your patient for some gear

for a goalie, good lord as you are talking over 5k for new gear for pro level protection. all made in china lol

You leave chess alone. I still love the game. I’m not playing cash games anymore, but I still often have a set in the car. I play at a bar now and then, or with my kid at a high top over a bite, just like my pop did with me.

It's a place for kids, who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford it, to play hockey. I know how expensive sports can be. My daughter was in competitive dance and it wasn't easy for us to afford. She had some talent in ballet and may have been able to go farther with it if we could have afforded it, but we couldn't. We did what we could. She had fun and was physically active which ultimately, to me, is the point of the whole thing.

On 32TP they said former Flyers trade target Torey Krug had been dealing with his ankle issue for six years.
