Ya, I watched his rant about that yesterday. He isn't wrong.

He may have been your boy 1st, but shortly after he got drafted, he had a picture taken with a family member, that got sent to me. That family member is a person that I grew up with, so needless to say, he is now may favourite prospect

He is a wrong and he is a drunk. Willander and Lekk are recent 1st rounders. Also, have you seen the other teams lineups? Canucks should be the best team quite easily

I don't know who he's directing that at, but yes, he's an idiot, it's also somewhat of the lingering Jim Benning effect. Benning, one of the worst GM's in NHL history, traded away the 2021 first rounder and the 2022 second rounder for OEL, Garland, Roussel and that slug Beagle.

Over the past three drafts Rutherford and Allvin have drafted two times in the first round. Yes they've traded away the Islanders first and their own second rounder but they got Hronek with that and he's been a big reason for the turnaround on defense and with the Canucks.

Cup competitive teams generally trade their high picks in their competitive window, just the way it is when you have a chance to win you go for it.
