What exactly is going to click playing 4th line?

Between the new additions Krebs and Greenway adams has made a mess of indifference on the 4th line

If kulich doesn't force his way on the roster one or more of these players will be expected to play above their ability. Nothing new for the sabres though

I think he breaks through the 4th line on the first injury tbh. But his distribution skills, I think, are where he excels this year.

I guess that's where we differ, I don't think 3rd line is above Krebs' ability. Looking at his CF% with Benson/Peterka, when given better linemates, he produces chances. It's about knocking those in now.

He passed up too many shooting opportunities though. Should've had one or two along the way. I worry he's turning into a pass first player when his shot is one of his best qualities.

I don't know where the opportunity is going to come from. With McLeod, Kulich, Ostlund, and Helenius, I don't think it's happening for him in Buffalo and I'm surprised he's still here.

He is a redundant player here

He won't be distributing to peterka. Maybe Benson if he manages his way to the 3rd line but you're counting on injury for that

Not sure what they expect. He doesn't even have a spot on the opening night roster right now

Sam Gagner has signed a PTO with CAR.

If he beats the odds and makes the team, he could pass Luke Schenn and become the active leader for most teammates. He's at 392, Schenn is at 409 (17th all time).

All time leader is Jagr, who played with 513 players. (again per Pnep of HOH)

Im using line stat, you were using Team Report.. Im not sure the difference or why there is major discrepancy.

This will be a faster team, with more grit. Scoring and team defense (goalies included) will be the determining factor. If we can have a bounce back year from Tage, Tuch, Cozens, and UPL, can replicate he performance from last year, we are a playoff team.
Ruff will coach someone bad habits out of our D-core IMO.

I hope he coaches some good habits and physicality to some of these guy. Doesn't have to be big hits just clear the crease. Grab your man out front.

I'm surprised they don't match. Team Stats is a place I use a lot.

Yeah most of their time comes in between Feb 17th and Feb 27th. I think the little 10 second-30 second shifts even themselves out. Most nights they play longer together there CF was pretty positive.

The team stats is clearly off though or I'm just not accounting for something.

Should have traded his rights for Crosby.

This is the only reason Tage made the team last year. Adams was unable to close a deal for a top 5 center. 🤦

I have always hated the fact that the Sabres constantly do this... For decades it seems to me.
