Andrae should stand out and look good. if he didn't then that would not be good at all.

no need to keep hearing jett was one of the youngest in his draft class.

did Rizzo stand out in any way for those who watched the games?

All the ex-flyers joining the organization has to pay dividends in the end? Hopefully not 30-40 years down the road.

Glad the Flyers streamed the games because their opponent did nada, including on their twitter feed and website.

No, there is a need. Some are eager to see him rushed directly to the NHL. I am dead set against that possibility. No nine-game trial spread over several weeks with a possible conditioning assignment to get him some AHL games, too. Don't screw with him. Have him in Guelph.

I agree though none of that has anything to do with peeps keep mentioning he was one of the youngest in draft class. at least to me.

almost like it is justification of the pick.

I don't see any on this board wanting him in the nhl this season, at least that I can recall. if there is it is an outlier.

Asked Brent Flahr if there was any chance Luchanko could get a nine-game audition. He said it would be a "stretch," but those are decisions that would be made by people like Briere/Torts. Said Luchanko is here to try to make it, and they don't want to close any doors completely.

Meh, I want every kid coming to camp trying to make the big club. I don't even have a problem with a 9 game tryout as long as he gets sent back regardless of how he plays. Give him a taste and send him back with a better idea of what he needs to do as a pro and dominate the OHL.

This organization would implode if they dared to infuse more than one youngster a reason.

Less than a month ago, Luchanko was 17 years old. At his age, I'm not sure if I want to give him a taste of Wilson, Popisil, Zadorov, Dillon, etc, during the first 9 games.

He can just just Dean Youngblood them with his speed . I would prefer he just goes back. But If they decide to keep him up to 9 games it could be a good lesson. Now if they keep him all season, throw him in to an 82 game slog, that would be insane.

All that being said, I don't think they will do it.

Those complaining about the ownership and management decisions of Flyers - not without merit, but some scale of criticism is good to keep in mind.

The facts emerging now from the state of the Wash. Commanders team and franchise facilities- Holy Smokes, Batman.

To give just one example: the practice facilities did not have a publicly visible clock to practice snap times, huddle times etc. The players association gave the team a F -

The place was just run to the ground. Meanwhile, owners were buying yachts, expensive houses in Europe, and so on. Snyder moved to London 4 years ago where he has apparently bought a mansion.

I went to FTC to get an up close look at Michkov and Luchanko today. It was a fun time. They were paired for most drills. The place was pretty packed. I went into the proshop while I was there. $950 for a pair of skates! (frank) you! Glad I don’t play anymore.

17 years old with a mature build of 5’11” 185 and speed. I believe it’s a foregone conclusion that Jett goes back to Guelph but as the youngest player in the first round and built ready, the pick doesn’t seem so stupid to me.

I don't give rats ass about the Commanders. I care about the Flyers and would like to see them become a legit contender before I die. All the fluff and infrastructure and facilities don't matter in that regard as a fan.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Jett made the team and became their long lost second line center ahead of Frosty! He certainly seems like more of a prototypical second line center than Frost. This dude can fly and he certainly has the size advantage (and he will fill out more).

On another note, the Cowgirls are overrated every friggin year. I didn't see the game, but just got in and saw the score. Eh what?

Without billionaire owners there would be no football, or other professional sports, or cars, or phones, or computers, or electricity, or gas, or TV’s, or online mega retailers, or places to work and many other things. Instead of hating people who work hard, have good ideas, and make money because of it, maybe you should be thankful you have access to things that their hard work provides.

Certainly the last people I am worried about is a bunch of people who make millions every year for playing a child's game that don’t have a clock.

Jett doesn’t have a size advantage over Morgan Frost.

Very good points.

But you did forget to mention antibiotics, toothpaste and air fryers.

Let’s say Luchanko theoretically makes the team. If he’s just a third-line center and not really productive, he’d probably be better off in the OHL. He has offensive talent, but he might lean on his defensive game more in the NHL, thus limiting his upside. The last thing you want is to put a player in a situation where they aren’t gaining anything—that’s the risk. I’m confident he could be a decent player with an average ice time somewhere in the mid-teens, but is that really better than being a top-line center in juniors? That’s for the Flyers to answer, and that’s assuming he shows out in the preseason.

benching Laughton is funny. Especially if it ever happened.

Jett is not making the team stop it. He isnt close to being the type of player to jump into the NHL from the draft plus you dont want him playing minimal 3rd or4th line lines...let him play1st line and PP minutes while he develops.
