From what I've seen so far I think he's a step ahead of Beck.

Sucks for Kapanen, it is either MTL or Europe, he can;t go to Laval since he is under contract in Europe. I wish they both could play in Laval this year

I did not.

Also I think Patches could do well in that line up if he can stay healthy.

no clue what you are talking about

Goalies

The net is Sam Montembeault’s to lose…he will have tube better to save this defense than a .903 save percentage…I actually think that’s possible…But to move the meter we have to see it….Primeau I watched play and a kid. No question that talent is now there…He could challenge..

Looks like they are set on their lines and D-pairings for the season... might see some tweaks, but I like that they are keeping lines together for pre-season, not mixing everything up every game.

AI wouldn't have made those mistakes, although the text itself would probably be as stale and meaningless.

there's a "theory" that Ovechkin is actually older, because Russia allegedly messed around with players' birth certificates.

I once had a colleague from Afghanistan whose family fled the country when they were very young. They ended up in Russia as refugees and didn't have any papers on them so they gave them all new official papers.

Their date of birth was all the same: January 1st of different years.

When they arrived in Canada a few years later with these papers... let's just say alot of people were very suspicious of them.

In baseball that's a classic with Cuban players.

Also

According to a 2003 article in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Florida General Manager Rick Dudley attempted in four different rounds to draft Ovechkin, arguing that, if leap-year dates were taken out of the equation, Ovechkin actually would turn 18 four days before his recognized birthday and thus have been eligible for 2003.

The NHL rejected the Panthers all four times, but the league did comply with Florida’s request to make the final one in writing. This way, if it is ruled that the Panthers were in the right, they could justify a claim on Ovechkin.
