No, my new Lenovo. It defaulted to Edge and has synched with my work desktop. All i want is to use chrome as my default browser. I've unistalled it and trying to reinstall it and its saying that it's in "S" mode.

Chrome usually doesn't require to turn off your anti-virus or whatever, and you can make it your default browser, just use the official link to be sure:
