Unless he lights-it-up against NHL competition in pre-season he definitely needs to go down and work on his game in the AHL. I mean, skinny kids with exceptional skill can be productive at the NHL level, but it's rare.

I also think Tocchet wants a bit of physical presence along the boards from his wingers. Plus some speed in on the forecheck and in transition. I don't think these are the strong points of Lekkerimaki's game at the moment.
