Took two posts to take a personal jab at Torts. Is this a record for this board?
- WhiskeyMan

Hardly personal when it's directly related to him doing his job. Or rather, not dong it.

He should come over and work hard and before Christmas he will be in a game(not sure about starting). I just don't see both these goalies getting thru the season without an injury. Plus we really need an option beside peterson, honestly think i could play goalie close to his level.

If he plays really well then he creates a really good problem for us. Always want the young players to push for a spot not sure if he will, but glad he came over and realized the smart play was to be in the NHL/AHL.

I doubt there is any deal like that in place.

I agree with you I doubt Kolosov gets to dictate his playing time or he takes his jersey and goes home.
I would think it would have been a honest conversation about playing in the AHL and if you perform well you will get a call up to the Flyers. Showing him the how many NHL teams have played more than 2 goalies in a season and how many average games the 3rd goalie gets.
Play well you get to the NHL faster with us vs most other teams.
That would be my thought on talking him into coming over.

I hope the Flyers lose their case against Johansson. I love this team but hearing that Johansson is a jerk somewhere to me isn’t a good enough reason t meddle with his NHL career. Especially from a team limited of talent, most importantly at center. The future is far, far away for this organization. Just play what you have. Not to mention using against him that he was able to left his wife at his own Wedding. Like, what are we doing here? This is a stupid problem to have.

I hope they stick him back in the Red Roof Inn in Allentown and forget to take him on road trips.

Kidding. Calm down.

He will be 1A in LHV. Potentially the first goalie recalled when needed. That should be enough to keep him here.

I'm glad he's honoring contract. He will receive nothing but a warm Philly welcome.

Is that good or bad?

Glad to see Kolosov finally found some sense.
- MBFLyerfan

Did he? Or did he have nowhere else to play since his Dinimo team didn't want him? There are a lot of red flags about this kid I'm afraid.

I know Torts mentioned Michkov being winded, gassed, tired or whatever he said. This might not be a popular opinion but I’d like to see Michkov be the driver of his line, not a passenger. I’d like to see him get more touches because it is pre season and the opponents are weak right now. I wanna see more of what he’s capable of right now.
- roenick97

The kid is 19 years old and has played 1 game against a partial NHL lineup. Let's give him time before we start bashing him.

Was probably worst part of the video lol So boring. Would have liked to see more front office meeting type stuff
- xShoot4WarAmpsx

My favorite part was when Briere asked Torts if any players were falling behind so far and Torts reply none. You knmow right after that Torts yelled CUT and then the names started to fly

You mean more of...

Briere: "Which players do you like and which ones don't you like?"

Torts: "It's becoming a team...great!"

Briere "Ok, anyone you see that may need work?"

Tort: "Nope, all good. We are a team!"

Who cares why. As usual, you over dramatize things. The other day you posted you hope his entire NHL career is ruined.

Its not bad news .. Johansen is not going to win if this even goes to an arbitrator. What it will turn into is a big loss for the players and thus I don't think it goes that far. There will be a settlement.

Flyers practiced PP today with York up top, Michkov on the right halfwall, TK, Frost and Tippet set up on the left side for one timers.

I just don't like the concesssions if there are any. The kid signed a contract, took the bonus money and then refused to show up. When he was here last year he refused to hang out with his team mates and apparently wants an NHL spot simply handed to him. What I said the other day needs to be put in context. If Kolosov refused to honor his contract, then yes I wanted the Flyers to play hardball and make sure he does not play an NHL game. He needed to be made an example of.

Your comments are foolish and shortsighted. What if hypothetically, the Flyers make concessions and the kid develops into a top goalie for the team? Would you be okay with it then? Not much is known factually about what the kid actually wants. It's absurd and childish on your part to want the kid made an example of. That does not serve anyone.

I guess it depends if we ever find out what Flyers based their decision on? If is BS then I hope gets his $…if he did embellish his injury then F him. I agree it might end up being settled unless one side has all the cards dealt on their side….then there won’t be a deal.

If an arbitrator ruled in favor of the Flyers, this could open more teams terminating contracts.
