Miller is the better goalie. His movements, goalie technique, his hockey IQ, and so on. Miller was excellent with anticipation and playing his angles.

Upl once or twice a game gets completely out of place and lost.

Watch the pass across goals on him. He can’t read the play.

The easiest comparison is Levi vs upl. It’s night and day on goalie technique and being able to read the play.

That's likely the agreement between the team and NHLPA, I'd guess. Purely speculation, but Lehner ran the risk of breaching contract, so that may be the happy medium for him.
